Mbita Clinic

MBITA CLINIC

Where We Operate

Opened in April of 2010, over 20,000 patients have been treated with low or no cost health services including treatments for malaria, respiratory infections, dysentery, sexually transmitted diseases, skin diseases as well as antenatal services for pregnant mothers.

The Clinic is a Comprehensive Care Center for HIV/AIDS testing and treatment and was recently awarded the overall best performing health care facility in the Mbita District in 2011. This recognition was received after less than two years in operation which is a strong indicator of the quality staff we have in our Mbita clinic.

Our desire to have a larger impact in this community has led us to the purchase our own land to expand our services. We will continue to operate in the existing, rented facility while we construct our new clinic. We look forward to your financial support in helping make this a reality Construction begins late 2013
